Your Purpose Never Ends!

People often think “When I die my purpose dies with me”. It is my opinion that, your purpose never dies! Your purpose never dies because if while on earth you operated in it, there is someone you’ve helped to evolve. Your impact on their life then affects the next generation and so on. Your purpose is seen in your family, the songs you sing, the books you write, the smiles you place on people’s faces, the wisdom you impart and literally everything that you do. The importance of you living out your purpose is not for your satisfaction or just for those you meet, but for the generations to come. The thing to remember about purpose is that it won’t be a life lived in the spotlight for everyone. Occupation is not the things that determines your level of impact. Teachers can have on an impact on just as many people as a famous writer over the years. Comparison is not a friend to your purpose but a complete enemy. Live in your purpose on purpose and you’ll have your best po...

Strength for All Things

Strength for All Things I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]. (Philippians 4:13 AMP) In life there are situations that with God's leading we overcome. Oftentimes while going through the process we feel like it's the most difficult thing we've had to face. It is in the escalation to the next level that we experience a shift of Christ's strength. The empowerment endows us to go on another day, praise God another day and encourage others through sharing Christ. Philippians 4 is full of instructions on how to get through the rough days. Think on the things that are right and just, practice what you have learned. In school we learn things throughout the semester in order to take an exam. We pass or fail the exam based on how much we remember. Right now you m...

God's Best for Me

God's best for me For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] Romans 11:29 Amp God's best for me is not a walk in the park or a shot in the dark; but a directed path that's lit along the way. It’s covered by wisdom & discernment not by desperation and desire because all that soon expires. God's best for me was bound on the inside of me, never knowing that it may have to be pulled out. Life circumstances lead me to The Father and that thing that I've done all my life with no bother or second thought just to collect my thoughts becomes part of my purpose. Never thought it would come to the surface to be shared with the world. Like an oyster cultivates a lovely pearl. I held it close as I'd grind on the sand Oops I mean demands of life. Off on my own dreaming of a way to make it happen neve...

Like a Tree

Like a Tree And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade  or  wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity]. (Psalm 1:3 AMP) Most trees that have had the time to be rooted and grounded are pretty steady. They go through many seasons in life, growing each year producing leaves and fruit (flowers, nuts, etc.) the roots of the tree remain steady for 100's of years. How much better is it to be a tree planted by the rivers of living water? A tree that is planted by the water has a source of constant nourishment from the water. John 4:14 speaks of the water that Jesus gives being enough to quench our thirsts so that we thirst no more.   It doesn't have to depend on someone to water it, because its source is deep within the ground, yet easily accessible by the deep roots of the tree. The tree is steady in all seasons though the wind ma...

What’s in the name?

Radiant: reflecting beams of light Transparency: having the ability to send or convey light from one person or place to another You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14 -16 AMP) In the previous blog  Those Who Were Ready Went In I talked about God's light in us and how His word and relationship with Him is our oil. Eight months ago as I was sitting and thinking about how I can help others Radiant Transparency came to mind. It made perfect sense to me that through this vision I would allow the light that God gives to shine through me. Radiance is not something that can be taught, but groomed in you b...

Out of Order

My pastor (Dr. Dimitri Bradley www.mobcc.org ) is preaching a series on "Renewing The Mind", this past Sunday's sermon was a true eye opener for me. Dr. Bradley spoke about how God has a specific order in which we are to follow to successfully navigate through life. Through his illustration of an out of order machine, I made the comparison to some of life's experiences. The only way we can find out God's order is by renewing our minds with His word on a continuous basis. James 4:6-7 6  But He gives us more and more grace ( [ a ] power of the Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who are humble enough to receive it). 7  So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you. Focusing on verse 7 is shows the order we should follow: Be subject to God, resist the...

The Trials of Life

Some trials are of the enemy, some self-inflicted (I've had many of these); no matter the avenue the destination of the enemy is always the same….destruction. The important thing to remember during the trials of life is that God knows exactly where we are and has allowed it all to happen. His plan is to prosper us, so no matter where we are it will all work together for our good. All the tough times we have been through, though they hurt they made us stronger = better. When we take that and acknowledge that God is in control we know that it is only by the grace of God that some of us did not end up as the star of a "Snapped", "Cops", "Iyanla fix my life" or a "Murder in the Family" episode. It takes a lot of strength and not strength of our own, but strength that God has placed in us to go through life and actually be in Gods will. This means doing the right thing, even when someone else isn't. The journey with God is not perfect...

You Qualify

First I’d like to thank you for stopping by the blog. Radiant Transparency is a motivational company; however I envision it as more of a lifestyle brand promoting spiritual and personal growth through God’s word. I’ve been going through a period of growth with God over the past year, leading me through a lot of inner turmoil. Not to say things were the worst that they could get, but we all have our own struggle. Once I truly began to seek God’s word and His will for my life, He placed it on my heart in February of this year to start a Facebook page (link at the bottom of the page) to encourage others. I pray every day that someone is impacted in a positive manor by the page, as well as those who come in contact with me on a day to day basis. I have a lot of ideas for this vision of encouraging others through God’s word; so I’m excited about the future and I daily seek His will for Radiant Transparency. I’d like to start this first blog off with being completely transparent about ...
