Your Purpose Never Ends!

People often think “When I die my purpose dies with me”. It is my opinion that, your purpose never dies! Your purpose never dies because if while on earth you operated in it, there is someone you’ve helped to evolve. Your impact on their life then affects the next generation and so on. Your purpose is seen in your family, the songs you sing, the books you write, the smiles you place on people’s faces, the wisdom you impart and literally everything that you do. The importance of you living out your purpose is not for your satisfaction or just for those you meet, but for the generations to come. The thing to remember about purpose is that it won’t be a life lived in the spotlight for everyone. Occupation is not the things that determines your level of impact. Teachers can have on an impact on just as many people as a famous writer over the years. Comparison is not a friend to your purpose but a complete enemy. Live in your purpose on purpose and you’ll have your best po...

Poem:I'm Done

This poem came about months ago after receiving negative comments and feedback about how I choose to live my life. I’m not perfect but the more time goes on, the closer I get to God, the more I want to do things His way in every area of my life. Some people may not understand and I’ve come to terms with the fact that not everyone will understand. I’ve also come to terms with the fact that even some Christians may not encourage you to live by God’s standards; but discourage you by saying “You’ll be single forever, if that’s what you’re looking for” yet I serve the author of time. Even if that will be the outcome God will give me the grace to live it out. Some may think that this comes from a place of bitterness, but truthfully it comes from a place of full blown LOVE…for God and for me! For those who are making changes in your life based on your relationship with God and who He says you are and what you deserve, you are not alone. Surround yourself with people who encourag...

Broken to Become Whole

Broken to Become Whole My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise. (Psalm 51:17 AMP) I was broken shattered into a million pieces that you carefully picked up and dusted off. You didn't superglue me back together, because You offer something better than what I was. Created in Your likeness, yet I still have to accept Your son to be righteous. I was broken, broken before you in the tears that tell the story of my shame mixed with a bit of fear & a whole lot of pain. In the midst of my tears I reflect on the years I said yes, but demonstrated no. Stayed busy putting on a show for myself & others; never knowing how to truly surrender; because I always saw the splinter in the eye of another yet never realized that the log in my own was a force to be reckoned with. Sin it's the enemies t...
