Today

Today....I dry my tears and say hello to my fears

Today.....I let go of my past and push forward pass the growing pangs

Today....I let God choose my path and take a different look at the glass. From half empty to half full and rising

Today.....I let go of the naysayers and prepare for the table to be set in the presence of my adversaries

Today... I relinquish my need to control and allow the beauty of life to unfold

Today... I take my heart off my sleeve and strive to believe in the greater good

Today... I let go of my personal desires and allow God to take me higher cause "THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE"

Today... I let go and let God, I choose to be odd more like one of a kind forever will I shine

Today.... I use your doubt for motivation your anger breeds innovation for my plans to empower the next generation.....Today

Hiding Amongst the Baggage

“Samuel went back to GOD: “Is he anywhere around?” GOD said, “Yes, he’s right over there—hidden in that pile of baggage.” They ran and got him. He took his place before everyone, standing tall—head and shoulders above them. Samuel then addressed the people, “Take a good look at whom GOD has chosen: the best! No one like him in the whole country!” Then a great shout went up from the people: “Long live the king!”” ‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭10:22-24‬ ‭MSG‬‬  There comes a time in life when the King or Queen in you can no longer be hidden. In 1 Samuel 9 Saul thought he was just going to look for his families lost sheep. As he was looking for the lost possessions of his family, he found the lost identity of himself.  Along the journey of life we find ourselves as we find Christ. In you is a great king or queen and you had no clue. There is a greatness in each of us that is hidden until life circumstances pulls it out of us. The Trials of Life

Some trials are of the enemy, some self-inflicted (I've had many of these); no matter the avenue the destination of the enemy is always the same….destruction. The important thing to remember during the trials of life is that God knows exactly where we are and has allowed it all to happen. When we take that and acknowledge that God is in control we know that it is only by the grace of God that some of us did not end up as the star of a "Snapped", "Cops", "Iyanla fix my life" or a "Murder in the Family" episode. It takes a lot of strength and not strength of our own, but strength that God has placed in us to go through life and actually be in Gods will. This means doing the right thing, even when someone else isn't. The journey with God is not perfect...

Life in His Garden

Life in His Garden Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. [I Cor. 15:45-49.] And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired–good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity. [Rev. 2:7; 22:14, 19.] And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. (Genesis 2:7-9...
