When God’s Purpose Drives Your Life

When God’s Purpose Drives Your Life

Jeremiah 29:

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart

Once we know our God given purpose, it begins to take control of our lives. Some may think they understand it or that they are living it out, yet they lack the insight and connection with God to truly understand. Passion and purpose are often used interchangeably, yet they are two different things. You can have passion for something and it not be your God given purpose.

Passion: a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something

Passion by itself may drive you in circles doing any and everything to make that passion turn into success.  While God may allow you to have some success because of your hard work, you still wonder what's missing. Why am I working so hard yet getting so little return?

Purpose: the reason why something is created

God’s purpose for our lives is the reason why we were put here on this earth; knowing your purpose can also cause you to have passion to fulfill God's will for your life. It is not the passion that leads you to frantically do any and everything to make things happen. But the steady burning passion that allows you to seek God & allow him to order your steps. It surpasses the doubts of the enemy & others in peace, it surpasses the inner and outside nudges from others to do things outside of Gods timing, and it creates calm in the midst of confusion realizing that…. it’s just a step. When we place our trust in God while living out our purpose, He leads us to places and people where opportunities and
relationships are formed for impact that glorifies Him.

Passion for your God given purpose also fuels protection. Even if you don't have children your motherly or fatherly instincts come out and you begin to protect the vision at ALL costs. What you hear, what you say, what you watch, how you spend your time, with whom you spend your time, and even what you put in your temple (body). It's the reason you can't do everything you used to do, act like you used to act, or even think like you used to think. Discernment takes over and gives you the peace to let go of anything or any person that doesn't align with your purpose. The letting go doesn't mean there's something wrong, it just doesn't fit.

What we must understand is that there will be opposition and a time that you feel like no one understands; for the most part.... they don't! God gave you the vision not them and unless they seek God to help them understand your vision and how they can help, they won’t fully get it until it’s time. So don't be alarmed when attacks come or your faith is tested, remain true to your purpose and the Holy Spirit that dwells in you.

When we begin to allow purpose & passion to work together the right way, God shows us that success is not measured by likes, events, status, degrees, accolades or even financial wealth. A lot of these things get us to where we need to be, but we should never let it be the overall indicator of success. All the money and things in the word won’t give you the peace that surpasses understanding. Godly success is measured by knowing you are doing what you are called to do right now for Gods will to be fulfilled. Sometimes that means learning and growing on a socially deemed "lower level", so that you will know what to do to sustain "elevated success". You may be asking “So does God want us to have financial blessings and success?”…… YES, BUT HE PROVIDES THE INCREASE AND SUCCESS! When we are ready, the timing is right and he knows you will use it to glorify Him.

When a life is purpose driven the journey glorifies God and not the person. Nor does it compare, discredit or compete with others. In order to lead a purpose driven life we must understand that the lane is narrow and the vehicle does not have the leg room, trunk space, etc. to fit everything. So we must choose our passengers wisely, upgrade the fuel to premium and get rid of the spinning hub caps.... they're played out and unstable. You hit the next little pothole and they'll be rolling away!

I say all of this to come back to focusing on God being the source of everything in life. It is with Him you will find peace, joy, love and most importantly His purpose and will for your life! We must seek God and build a relationship with Him, in order for our lives to be driven with purpose. This life we have now compared to what is to come is short. Many scream YOLO, but when it's all said and done what will be said when God asks "What did you do to fulfill the reason I created you”.

Takeaway's:
1). Seek God and His Kingdom to fulfill His purpose for your life. Matthew 6:33

2). Ask God to show you discernment about every element of your life, so that you begin to realize what/who belongs and what/who doesn't. James 1:5

3). STOP WORRYING! It won't all happen in a day, maybe not even a year; just continue allowing God to guide you. Matthew 6:25 -32, 34

Life in His Garden

Life in His Garden Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being. [I Cor. 15:45-49.] And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east, in Eden [delight]; and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed, constituted). And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired–good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity. [Rev. 2:7; 22:14, 19.] And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. (Genesis 2:7-9

Much Will Be Required

Much Will Be Required Growing up many of us began to discover our gifts, for some it took a little longer to recognize their abilities as gifts. As we mature into adulthood many of us bury the gifts or continue to look at uncultivated gifts as useless.  We hold on to these things in ability, yet we relinquish the call to use them. For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] (Romans 11:29 AMP) Romans 11:29 tells us that God's gift and call are irrevocable. Gifts are things we must choose to receive.  We can choose to use them or not use them, but they will still be there in/with us. If you can sing at an early age and decide not to use your voice to glorify Him, He won't take your ability away because of His word.  Whether we stray or stay on the path it is still ours. The major question for all who are avo

God's Best for Me

God's best for me For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] Romans 11:29 Amp God's best for me is not a walk in the park or a shot in the dark; but a directed path that's lit along the way. It’s covered by wisdom & discernment not by desperation and desire because all that soon expires. God's best for me was bound on the inside of me, never knowing that it may have to be pulled out. Life circumstances lead me to The Father and that thing that I've done all my life with no bother or second thought just to collect my thoughts becomes part of my purpose. Never thought it would come to the surface to be shared with the world. Like an oyster cultivates a lovely pearl. I held it close as I'd grind on the sand Oops I mean demands of life. Off on my own dreaming of a way to make it happen neve
